Little Mountain Midwifery is a small urban practice based in Seattle, Washington that specializes in individualized care in a home-like setting. I provide complete midwifery care for the childbearing year including preconception counseling, pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and postpartum.

Informed choice and family-centered care are at the heart of my professional values. I maintain a small practice to ensure that I am able to develop good relationships with my clients. Private practice allows for both a greater attention to detail and a better understanding of every individual in the childbearing process. With each mother and her family, I am honored to be invited to share in the intimate and sacred milestone of childbirth.

The name Little Mountain is a geographic reference to a place very dear to my heart. It is also a metaphor for the journey one takes during the childbearing year. Just as one might travel through new territory or rediscover familiar terrain, the journey up Little Mountain is full of wonder and challenges, and best shared with a capable, trusted guide.
